Kenny (red sprawl shorts) squares up with
Mark DellaGrotte (blue shorts).
.JPG)
Kenny starts closing the distance getting
into the danger zone.
.JPG)
With his jab or lead hand, Kenny drags
Mark’s lead hand with the inside his palm without
using his thumb.

.JPG)
Kenny uses the drag to throw an elbow to
Mark’s jaw.
.JPG)
With the same arm that throws an elbow, he
flows right into an under hook for control.
.JPG)
Kenny under hooks the arm and posts his
left hand on Mark’s neck to lower his oppt’s head and
create distance and space fully controlling mark’s
base.
.JPG)
Kenny then switches his stance and throws
a knee to Mark’s mid section. Notice Kenny is on his
toes for extra leverage and power as he throws the
knee.
.JPG)
Using the under hook side, he then goes for
a single leg pick up. Notice Kenny keeps his head over
his hips and his head is up.
.JPG)
Kenny’s shoulder is tight to Mark’s body
and his head is putting pressure on mark’s side.
.JPG)
To finish the single leg, Kenny steps back
with his right leg nice and far and uses his head and
weight on Mark’s leg and body to put him down.
.JPG)
With his opponent on his back and in Kenny’s
control, Kenny gets his posture and is in a great
position to start punching or to pass to his opponent’s
side mount.
